Default What's the deepest target you've dug?

Ok, so I'm bored again and thought I'd ask a question...

Mine is probably the silver nickel I found at a school I used to pound relentlessly about 20 years ago... when I saw it in the hole, it was still sitting where it had been, and my digger had a ruler etched into it, so I measured it carefully - 10"...

And there have been countless targets I've dug on that I never recovered, just gave up on... some from sheer exhaustion, others from sheer frustration!

Pulled up a soda can at the beach a few weeks back..Must have been at least 8 inches deep..Good trick on me.Sounded so good I had to find that one.....Have found a few deep ones back in Dover Delaware..I think about 7 or 8 inches down with my trusty XLT...Buster....

With My XLT I have dug about 10" . But on the beach I find deeper targets than soil.

There were lots of targets I just never got to, especially at the old train depot where I found my silver dollar... I still wonder what I left there to this day... maybe someday I can get back there...

When I was using my Whites Prizm III, I dug an old trenching tool at about 18 inches. Picked up as a quarter all the way down.
