Default finding lots of stuff without metal detecting

I am so used to looking at the ground that I have been finding a lot of stuff without metal detecting. Does that happen to you guys? Let me know.

I walk around looking at the ground so much that I nearly walked into a parked car yesterday! I am amazed at what people drop everyday...my oldest wheat penny was found in a WalMart parking lot!

Default This hobby infects all parts of your life

I find stuff all the time, always have. It makes me wonder why people work so hard to make money if they're just going to throw it away for me to find.

Cheers,

BDA

Default I used to be embarrased

about picking up pennies but no more. They all add up. It's like that credit card commercial where ane nickle is on the automatic stairs and the commercial is about the credit card rounding it to the nearest cent and giving you the credit difference. I know I will make thousands by the end of my life with metal detecting and having a great time all at the same time.

I always look down,I find lots of cool things that way. Found a 14 kt rope chain before Xmas in a grocery store. A friend and myself pull into a service station we both spy folded bills laying in the parking lot, stare at each other and take off in a mad dash. It was under ten dollars but the race was fun. We still laugh about it,as he tells how I tripped him .
