Default Just an off topic hello

Hello all. It has been a long time since I have been on this site but decided I should stop in and look around. Some of you might at least recognize me by my picture.

There has not really been any reason for me to come here and post since the ground in Minnesota is frozen solid. But thought I would drop in to check out my 2 favorite areas, the "your finds" and "ask pappy". Have I missed anything recently? Like any huge finds in the news or anything? I plan on hitting a natural wildlife reserve this year when everything melts. I can not remember off hand how big the place is but I have been there 3 times (before I ever did any metal detecting) before, and every time I got lost for at least 20 minutes while I tried to find my way back out. I know there is an old school house there and some other real old looking buildings. Will be planing a few other places to hit this year too.

So since I can not go out detecting I have been spending more time with my fiance and my 3 year old son. Also been working on overhauling my website at Home*-*Journey of the animals.. So I am keeping quite busy. I hope everyone is doing well. I am off to go look around some more and see what people are digging up.

Adam

Hi, Jota.

We have added a few new features to TQ worth checking out.

Like the Tinman said, the "TQ: Quest for Treasure" was created and is a cure for cabin fever.

The Metal Detector Resource page was just inaugurated and you can compete for a prize if you submit a review about your metal detector.

We have the "Best of TQ" where we have placed some of the most popular threads on the forum in one place.

We just added a new sub-forum in "Antique Bottle Talk" for Insulators.

The "Group Buys" continue to be popular and we have added the "TQ Support Group" and some more great members to the site.

Hope you will enjoy the new TQ!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Oh and TINMAN. Yeah I know the name is pretty long. I started using it after I created a website using this name (you can find a link at the bottom of my signature). So I either go by this name or the name "fearthejourney". I even have a tattoo with "Fear The Journey" on it. Will see if I can find a picture of that.

OK found the picture.

Basically it means that you can fear what might come up in life but trust that everything happens for a reason and will work out some how sooner or latter. The wolf is a slightly modified version of something they already had at the shop and the words are from me.
