Question Time Travel Fact Or Fiction

Hi, Last Night I Fell Asleep While Looking At The Forum. I Had My Guitar On My Lap And My Mouse In One Hand And My GPS In The Other. I Some How Quickly Arose With A Predominant Haze Hanging Over Me. I Was Riding A Horse On This Very Crooked Winding Wagon Trail. Up In The Distance Was A Dusty Looking Town That Was Barely Visible With The Morning Sun Piercing My Eyeballs. Not Knowing What To Expect I Cautiously Rode Closer To The Town. Entering The Outskirts Of Town I Looked Down To My Lower Right I Couldn't Believe My Eyes I Had My Newly Modified Metal Detector Carefully Strapped To My Saddle. Upon Arriving In Town In Front Of The Saloon Stood A Gin Soaked Ol'Timer. He Uttered The Words "You're Not From Around These Parts Are You Sunny". I Daintly Tapped My Dusty Crusted Hat As I Was Spitting Some Chew On The Ground And Slowly Replied "Nope". One Look At This Ol'Timer And I Could Tell He Was Still Pixilated From The Night Before. In Disbelief He Asked Me Another Question "What's That New Fangled Contraption Strapped To Your Saddle?" I Hastely Replied "What I Have Here Is A State Of The Art High Tech Coin Finder". He Stupidly Replied "Yupper". Crash Bang Boom Wow Suddenly I Awoke Screaming My Head Off It Seems My Guitar Must Of Fallen Of My Lap And Landed Directly On My Big Toe. It Is Now Blue And Swollen But I Don't Think It's Broken. This Dream? Really Got My Creative Jucies Flowing! Could You Imagine The Possibilities Of Going Back In Time With A Metal Detector? Just Close Your Eyes And Focus For 30 Seconds And Ponder That Thought. Anyways It Got Me Thinking Is Time Travel Really Possible? And What Are These New Coordinates On My GPS? I Will Offer This Suggestion Though If You Are Planning To Do Some Time Traveling Any Time Soon Take Spare Batteries The Town Is Fresh Out Of Them. Thanks

When you think about it - MD'ing is a form of time travel...when we dig out an old coin or relic - it's likely that the LAST person that touched it has been gone for a hundred years or more!

...but, yeah - I've thought the same thing about actual time travel!

Sounds like a good candidate as a storyline for a book. Who knows? You just might be the next John Grisham.

Ok you just touched on a subject that I'm fasinated with!! I have always been curious about time travel and the "what Ifs" it brings. I always watch any movies and read books about time travel.
And believe me when I say that I think of it often, espically the old house(pic of it in my profile) that I detect. If only I could travel back in time to see what the layout of this place was like, what kind of people occupied this house thru the years, where was that darn horse race track located, and also would love to seen the boats travel behind this house on the wabash-erie canal. If I could be granted one extremly weird wish, that wish would be to travel back in time just to observe!!

Time travel would be great. It would be so kewl to go back and be able to actually drink out of a stream without fear of disease....

such a peaceful time when people still talked without emails
