Default Back in the Dinosour days..bones found

I spoke to my wifes sisters New boyfriend today..He has a intresting job and is a big project manager ..Builds Levies mostly up and down the mississippi river..So I ask him if he checked the places out before they did the Grading..And he said there always looking..Well he was in south lousiana and they had to scrape off 30' of ground for grade and DUG up An old prehistoric Grave yard full of HUGE bones
The Feds caught wind of it and moved them outa there..He was told the GOV thinks its Dinosour Bones and claimed the land..WOW go down 30' is a bunch..HOW cool would it be to find something like this..I think I talked him into getting a detector and start checking some of these places they have to grade..I bet he's Burried a lot of cool stuff..Theres a lot of history up and down the Bigger rivers..james

My Grandpa and Uncle have found mastodon bones off the Wakulla river... and teeth! They're HUGE! It's seriously amazing!! I can't imagine finding a whole entire dinosaur!

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!

Default cool!

Thats really cool...down here at Tourquoise Valley Golf Course in Naco (border town) a few years back they found an ancient kill site full of mastadon bones and stone tools. It's protected now so to dig there would be suicide but i did find a cool arrowhead-shaped peice of black granite with a streak of white quartz in it. It's in my pics i posted on my profile page. Every time we play there my game suffers because i'm too interested in finding something cool lol. But 30' down is along way down..those bones are ancient. Makes ya wonder what's hidden underneath your feet doesn't it?
