Default Sunday Finds in England

Went on a dig with friends yesterday,I found loads of rubbish......Silver Paper,Pull Tabs, small bits of Lead,a couple of bits of Iron,scrap Bronze.ect. I also found a few nice bits.
#1 Assorted peices...Lead Weights,Heart is from a Bridle Boss,Buttons..1 has an Eagle on it.
#2 Medieval Buckle Plate.......I love this
#3 As above side view
#4 not sure think it hangs from a belt!!
#5 & 6 Silver Sixpence

Glad you got out to hunt ,,silver and the buckel were worth the trip ,i like the plane,toys always make it worth the dig for me.hope you the best of luck...creek

Default Nice bit of hunting, Anne!

The medieval buckle is terrific and the rest of the finds are interesting too. Were you out working the fields or did you have a designated site for this hunt. Either way, you did great.

The fields had been ploughed a couple of months ago and reseeded with grass...it was about an inch high,so lovely conditions for detecting.
