Default sunday excursion

hi guys...weather was gettin' wild here sunday, so i packed up the fam and went to Tombstone. Didn't metal detect cuz i didnt want to get in any trouble as i haven't gotten permission to look anywhere yet. And i think i'tll be tough to do. The place looks like you could drop a coil anywhere and you'll find something good or interesting. We just went to the Birdcage Theatre and took pictures and had a bite to eat. Nice afternoon. My eyes were looking down ALOT! Didn't find anything though. The third picture is one of the first man to get rich in Tombstone by finding a silver deposit which lead to it's exsistance as a town. I found a shell casing like one of the bigger ones in the second picture , in my back yard. Guess there's hope after all for my immediate surroundings! ...We'll see....

Good point...but i feel real weird walking up to someone's house, knocking on their door, and asking if i can MD. Maybe i should go to the saloon, Big Nose Kate's, and see if i can make a friend or two. The town is surviving on tourism and is very busy all the time...people from all 4 corners of the globe. The money made there is astounding. Whats cool is that it is still a functioning city which coined it's knickname, "The town too tough to die". The more i think about it, the more i wanna go and dig, dig, dig!!!! I feel like one of those miners who a hundred years ago felt that same pang for silver, that came there looking for their fortune. Very exciting!

Get to know someone a bit there and you'll get permission I'm sure. Those pics were very nice.

Default Nice Pics and a Great Place for History

Your real treasure is in picture #4 though. You are a lucky man to have such a sweet girl for a daughter.

Congrats,

BDA
