Default Anyone deal in watches

Hello all. I was wondering if there was anyone on this site that is known to deal with watches. What I mean is there anyone here that perhaps buys and sells watches for a living or something. I have a question about the price of the watch in my avatar.

Default watch

I'm not an expert but that looks like a Cartier or a Baum and Mercier. Baum and Mercier is owned by Cartier. Both are extremely high end. That looks like the model I bought for my wife this December. It was about 1500 and it only had a few diamonds marking the hours. If this is a genuine Cartier it is worth well in excess of 2 grand. probably more like 3500 or 4000. Its possible its a knockoff. Just take it to a jewelry store and they'll tell you if its genuine.

OK I guess I would really really really need to get this looked at. It is By "Pulsar" and if the diamonds are real there are 37 of them. Should be 38 but it is missing one. I looked at some stuff online when I first found this and found that Pulsar was in fact a higher end watch. I know there is a Pulsar dealer in a mall that I know of. But every time I have been to that mall I have not had the watch with me. I guess I will have to make certain to have it with me next time.

Never mind. I just checked the site again and found my watch this time. Looks like it is only $145. Man that bigger money could have solved a housing issue I am going to have in about a month. /sigh Oh well. I wonder why the watch was not on there before when I checked. Guess I missed it.

PULSAR

However. Even at $145 that is more then I paid for the metal detector that found it.

On a pulsar you have a number on the back of the case. You can e-mail that number to Pulsar. They are made by Seiko. My wife works at a Jewelry Store. That is what she said, she is certified in Pulsar and seiko, Beale.

No the number will ID the watch exactly. Each style they sell has a unique ID. They can tell you if diamonds or crystals, Beale.

Would your wife be willing to do that for me? If so, the the number is 1n00-x181. Thank goodness for my jewelers loop or there is no way I could have read that. Once I started using the jewelers loop to see stuff like the date on coins I knew I was getting old.
