Is the ground to froze to get out and hunt. I haven't heard anything from you about finds. Just wondering. Looks like your area got some snow last night.

Yes Earl, I am very Frustrated i haven't been able to go out my detector is sitting in the corner all i can do is pick it up and hold it O well And we did get snow it is warming up tomorrow and then sun. and then Mon. And Tues. High 40's and rain! and is supposed to warm up more everyday after that! I can't wait!!

It will be warm soon. I know it is hard waiting to get out and the 250 sitting in the corner with no way to use it. If you have some kind of shelter out of the snow, you could get a piece of cardboard and tape a penny to one side of it and lay it on the ground upside down and practice your pin pointing with the 250. When you think you know where the penny is stick a nail or something in the cardboard and turn it over and see how close you were. Something to do any way, and you will learn more where the target will be.

Dylan - If you haven't done so already, do a search in YouTube.com for Ace250 and watch some of the video's there. You will hear some of the sounds of different types of finds and you will also get an idea of different techniques people use when metal detecting with the Ace 250. I hope the ground thaws soon for you.
