Default Save your clad?

I was just wondering if anyone here saves their clad for something. Like do you put all your clad that you find aside to pay for a new MDer or something. I know it will be a long time before my clad could pay for anything but I still plan on saving it.

I save all my change, but not for any reason other than it's alittle "forgotten" cash when I need it. I just toss-in my clad once it's been cleaned.

Absolutely! I have paid for diamond and moissanite testers, new batteries and chargers, a scale, loupes, jewelry repairs, hats, swim trunks and water shoes.

Thinking about a coin tumbler soon from one of the sponsors...

Yea I save all my clad. I was actually tumbling some today. My plan is to save it for a year and then get something for my detector. Heck why not? This weekend I got $9.19 total, Beale.

I usually save all clad to buy things we want that are not in our budget. But now all our clad is for spending money, for our trip to Vegas that I won.

Won a trip to Vegas huh? Sweet.

I know that my uncle used to save all of his change all year long and used it to pay for his vacation to the boundary waters. I can wait to find some gold that I can start getting melted down into some bars, it sounds so cool. I have two containers right now. One fore interesting junk finds and the other for clad. But as you can see in my counter, 2007 was not the kind to me. But for a couple of months I was not really able to get out because I was recovering from cancer surgery. I think I will post some more info about the cancer in General Discussion so people know what I am talking about.

Oh, I figure if I find good jewelery that I can sell like the $145 watch that I found then I can really save up for a new detector. I then plan on handing my ace 150 down to the fiance. I plan on still going a little cheaper when I upgrade and go to the ace 250.
