Headphone plug

Hi All. I was on a visit to one of our assembly plants yesterday and because of the nature of the visit I was given foam ear plugs. Instantly I thought of another use for the memory foam.

Because I dont have water proof headphones and winter will soon be turning to spring Im afraid I might get water in the headphone plug.

I guess it depends on what model of MD you use but my gti1500 is on the back of the battery pack and very much exposed to the elements. My ace250 on the other hand has the headphone jack on the back of the processor and it is covered by the rain/dust cover.

I tried it and it works very well. If you havent seen these or havent used them its very easy. You pinch and roll and the plug will get smaller so that you can slide it in the headphone jack. Then it will expand and wala, rain proof headphone jack.

p.s I think you can pick these up just about any auto store possibly even lowes or home depot.
