Default all is not lost

Was just thinking(a somewhat dangerous thing sometimes)it does me good to know that there are kid's like our young Dylan who play outside digging up buried treasure playing in or exploring thje town dump etc.
I tend to generalize younger kids as being all televisionwatching, video game playing lazy kids, But if dylan is out there aching for the ground to thaw,so he can get out and explore, there's got to be more just like him. I guess what I'm saying is all hope is not lost!
I hope this isn't too off the wall.
Hank

Good observation. Wish we had more kids on the site with Dylan's urge to hunt...Buster.....

I agree. Most of the kids now days prefer to sit inside. It is nice to see that some still want to go out and play in the dirt, Beale.

I agree, you couldn't keep us in the house when we were growing up, whether it was snow 10 feet high or sunny, we were always out doing something fun.

Yeah I agree too. Its a shame weve become a video game planet but with good kids like dylan and education perhaps we can get them out to enjoy the outdoors. I make my girls earn video game and tv time with reading of books or activities..

I agree with Ya'll. I read an article awhile back that eithe 10 or 15 yrs ago... 87% of kids after school would be out playin and in some kind of outdoor sport or activity.. That is now down to 17 %. Kinda Sad ! I'm sure there are alot more young Folks like Dylan. Kinda like Good News.. Ya just don't hear or see It as Often as the Bad.
Hats Off to You Master Dylan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
