Default Goin' out today...

70 degrees today ,there sayin'...woo hoo!! but i can't decide if i should go to a ball park or try for some gold in a wash somewhere. theres that one canyon that is worth going back to repeatedly because there's been placer found there...sooooo plus i discovered one of the guys i work with is from Tombstone...YES...and said i could have a look-see. he said theres some kind of dump area that he has seen a few people workin' over... so there's a good foothold in Tombstone i hope! also lots of silver was extracted from here in the past, so maybe i'll get lucky. in my mind i see a good percentage of people in that town on the hunt. how could you not be if you live there! later ya'll cory

Default thank you hope i do !

i was just outside and i was watching a neighbor chippin away at a big rock he has...i want to go ask him if he found something cool but dont wanna intrude or come across as nosy. i am going to town to detect a park for an hour or two, first this weekend. then im going to go into ash canyon and haul out a few buckets of finer gravels and rock to take back home. i want to make a slewce (sp?) box to go thru it all... i keep getting this feeling that gold could be anywhere in this area..just gotta be persistant and not picky about where to look. my flower beds and garden will be rock -free at the least!

Default Go Gett'em Tiger!

There's gold in them thar hills, you just have to go out and get your share. I'd be willing to bet that most of the folks in Tombstone don't have the slightest interest in getting any of that gold even though it's right under their noses. People are funny that way, they just can't see themselve doing something they consider outside of their normal life. This just means there's more gold for you.

Cheers,

BDA
