question.
does anyone know a good way to get the rusty, dirt-colored stain off of quartz? iv'e boiled some and scrubbed with dishsoap and have gotten most of the loose stuff off, but i'd like to get them cleaner. i found a small quartz geode in my yard. iv'e been cleaning the rocks out of my flower beds and garden with a shaker box and finding some interesting ones .

You could try tumbling them. I am tumbling some now for a friends Gdaughter, that she found.
