I know of several in my area of PA that had Comcast and it was troublesome. I had Verizon DSL and it was good, they recently brought FIOS (fiber optics) to my area and I upgraded to that. Much faster than DSL and less expensive than cable. Also went with the fiber optics TV, also less expensive than cable and better picture than the Dish network that I had and no worry about losing signal during a storm.

Thanks Guys , I appreciate your insight,I have yahoo/dsl now and it works pretty good for me. I was just thinking about consolidating by having cable, phone and internet in a bundle package . I get conflicting stories from friends that have the package deals. And I dont miss my snow covered dish either .

Good luck on your knee surgery, Smitty....you'll be good as new!

Also Terri - I had Comcast in Atlanta....absolutely hated it....had bundled services...hated that too - they did NOT honor the original bundling price AND troubleshooting and customer service was non-existent....just my experience for whatever it's worth!
