Woohoo....I can "surf" now
I haven't been posting much, or actually spending as much time on the internet as I wanted.....because of $10 a month dial-up
 ...it was getting more aggrivating than anything. Anyway, just got done setting-up my ATT/Yahoo DSL connection......and I'm liking it!!  It's sure going to make the internet a whole lot more enjoyable, that's for sure!Worked-out good, as I'll be laid-up for awhile, getting a new knee the end of the month.....so atleast I'll have something to do  Smitty

Joker- If you have the Comcast cable, you'd be taking a step "backwards" to go to DSL, unless you're needing to trim some expenses. I've never had cable, so I can't make a comparison....I did have AOL Broadband a couple years ago....they weren't exactly upfront (honest) about what it would do & what it took to get connected, but I can say I like the ATT/Yahoo as well or better (I never was an AOL fan anyway). Thanks you guys about the knee.....I'm sure by the time it heals where I can get around everyone here will be sick of my posts  Smitty

Glad you won't have to deal with the Aggrivation of dial-up . Had Comcast and it was down more than Up. Hope the New Knee works out real good and Ya make a Speedy Recovery. Bet MetalMan is gettin a Good Tan there in California..Who knows , He may be out Surfin to !

Tinman, you might shoot Terri (Echostar61) a PM, she's considering switching to Comcast cable....so you might give her the heads-up if it's troublesome....atleast she'll have an idea. lol, I've been cooking the past few days, and freezing meals so I won't have to try & cook after getting out of the hospital.....I can nuke it & be ready to go.
