My wife has the same gift as you do, after years of working in an office, decided to take a less stressful job driving paratransport (small bus that hauls the elderly and physically and mentally handicapped). She cared for her elderly aunt until she passed away, and now I see the same love and concern for her passengers she relates her day to me. She calls it her "play job" because she loves it.

God Bless you and all the caregivers, I just hope that if necessity dictates that I would be able to step up to the plate.
Hi Minelabman, Thanx for your reply, I didn't mean to hijack this thread however it struck a chord with me! I am sure you would and could step up if needed. Your wife sounds like my kind of person!!

HaveFaith.. Bless You for taking Care of your Brother and others as You Do. Some Folks have the Skills and Desire to do These Things while others do not wich is OK BUT Everyone Should have some Compassion for those who are Challenged Physically or Mentally or Both. To at Least show some Kindness, Understanding and give someone less fortunate a sense of Dignity is not much to ask and can be Good Medicine all the Way Around ! Having and Keeping the Faith with You !
Thanx Tinman, you are a very special person. You have a big heart and a big understanding of things. You are right. Some have skills in dealing with this field, some don't at all. Respect and dignity is what I strive for with all the people I work for, and of course my bro.. He is my heart.

Thanks for posting that Rob . I feel that we all need to slow down a bit and see what is around us. If people would do that then we would be in a better world. Not enough care about wanting to help. HaveFaith you are a good person for sure. I am glad you are part of this family. I worked with The Special Olympics for a number of years while I was in the military. I tell you what I enjoyed that so much and really miss working with that organization.. I was a boccie ball umpire, water boy, towel boy for the track runners, and anything else that they needed at the time. This was a Good post for sure...Buster...

Thanx Buster, My bro used to be in the Special Olympics for Bicycling, that was until his hip started to give out. It was my fav time of the year, to see all the smiling faces. They moved it way inland from just down the road. I miss that time of year.
