Default Time for Another Good Deed.

When we wrapping up after our hunt today with a couple of cold Heinekiens (gatta love that boy, Chris for bringing a cooler of beer) we were approached by one of the linemen who was working on a hydro pole beside Tobacco Bay. His mother has lost her wedding band in her backyard and they have great sentimental value, especially since his dad past away two years ago. Could we possibly help out his Mom? Chris just pointed at me and said "you better talk to him". "Not a problem" I told the lineman, who is in his 50's so his Mom is probably around 80, "Where do you live?" As luck would have it, he's not too far from where I live so I'll be meeting up with him tomorrow afternoon at his Mom's house. This time I know what I'm looking for, I know that it's gold and they know roughly where they think it was lost.
Wish me and this fella's Mom, Luck.

Cheers,

BDA

Hopefully I'll have a picture of a wedding band and some smiling faces to post tomorrow.

Definitely a job for the ACE250, these yards are usually around 200 year old houses so lots of junk to snipe around. My Excal 1000 would have fits - it only knows one thing - GO DEEP!
Thanks for all the luck, I can use all I can get as I struck out last time on the mystery item, they wanted me to find somewhere. I'm beginning to wonder if they just wanted me to check out their yard for treasure, they were very evasive and more than a little wierd. I had lots of good silver tones and a couple of possible gold tones but they were all very deep and that wasn't why I was hunting their yard so I didn't dig anything. I didn't even have a digging tool, just a small hand rake to pull back the grass.

Cheers,

BDA
