I think I finally got this camera thing. That ring yesterday looked bad and after this I am going to try to fix the camera like BDA said but I will post these pics now as I have them. The first picture is a 1942 Quarter that I got a long time ago at the school I used to work at and the second and third picture is a 1898 indianhead penny that I got when I used to work at Blockbuster video as a cashier. Being a cashier has its privilages. There are more pictures to come. Sorry it took this long but with work, kids, wife, and everything it took a while to figure out. Here it is.

Honestly at that time I knew that the older the coin the better it was. I do know much more about coins now that I have the red book which you guys recommended and also have learned a lot of you guys talking about it. At that time unfortunately I was not really aware that most coins 1964 and less are mostly composed of silver so I think I probably missed a lot of quarters and dimes that way. Now I teach P.E. and we have a little business of shorts and shirts rentals for 50 cents each and I always look at the change but unfortunately till this day working for almost 1 year no one has passed a dime or quarter 1964 and under. The lowest is 1965 so I guess there are some people out there who really hold on to those coins.

Keep looking, it's bound to happen! I saw a woman in front of me at a convenience store pay with a silver dollar, I asked the girl at the register for it in my change and got it. Ya just never know!
