No have not tried Jupiter. Is it good? Are you from there? I used to live in South Beach so know the area real well. There are always tons of people year round also people getting hammered and losing all kind of things there. Always a good place to detect. I really do not see to many people detecting at South Beach when I go. The last time I went there was no one detecting. The day I found the chain there were two detectorists but they had one of those tiny scoops where they had to go on their knees to get the item. That was something I did for like 2 weeks then got the long scoop which is all aluminum (very light). I spend 80 bucks for it and do not regret it at all and already got my money back for it and then some. I would say that for every item they recover I already recovered like 3 items 1 to 3 something like that.

Default nope not from there...

but i spent half a summer working on a house re-hab project in Jupiter right on the beach. i love it down there. went to Miami for an afternoon on the beach and there were lots of folks there, and it was off-season. you're right...lots of partying goin on there and should be a ton of stuff buried all up and down the beach. and the beach is so vast it would take years to detect it all. Jupiter beach ... i think the property owners own all the way down to the water's edge, but i noticed that people are allways walking up and down it. If you go there, be carefull about digging up next to where the sand meets the high banks. certain times of year the sea tortoises come up and lay there eggs in the sand, and the environmentalists get kind of cranky when the turtle nests get disturbed. this is at certain times of the year when the turtles come in from the sargasso sea to lay eggs...not year 'round, i believe. wish i could join ya! good luck!! (by the way, the environmentalists i think are actually DNR or something and are the only ones you will see driving quads.)
