Default The 14 k gold ring

I found last year at the reinassance park I told you guys about with the picture of Jesus and Hail Mary. This one was not at the sand park. This one was around one of the picnic areas at the park. I had searched the sandpark and nothing because I have already detected there about 4 or 5 times and it was hunted out eventhough there is no such thing as hunted out then I went to the picnic area and my son wanted to go to the skateboard park in the same park and after about 30 minutes there and about to leave with practically nothing I found it. This was one of my best finds because all I had found in about a 2 hour hunt because before going to the picnic area I was hunting the sand park for 1 1/2 hours I only had like a couple of pennies and a nickle totaling 7 cents then I found it. My wife liked it so much that she wore it for a long time but then one of the little chainy things broke off but there is still one left. I have never really seen a ring like this before. It almost looks like an earring. Now I have it in my collection and might sell it not sure. Before I do I took a picture of it for all of you to see.

Another nice find, and sounds like my wife and yours have been talking, mine gets dibs on any jewelry that I find . Works for me, can't find jewelry if I can't detect!

Default Definitely a Ring, Mate.

You really have to do something about the pics though. Your finds would look so much better if you used the macro setting.

Cheers,

BDA

Chick, usually the macro feature (close ups) is symbolized by a flower symbol. Just turn the dial to that symbol and take you pic from about 12 inches out. Your allowing the camera to adjust itself for close up pics instead of middle ground pics with the background also in focus. I think the photo hounds would say that you're reducing the focal length but I'm a Pirate not a photo guru.
I think you'll like the results, just play with it a bit and if you don't get it right the first time just delete and try again. That's the beauty of digital cameras, no film to waste because there's no film just pixels.
If this works out you should consider free downloading a program called Picasa 2, great photo editor which is simple to use, you can even use a feature on it called 'I'm feeling lucky' and the program will do everything it thinks necessary to make the picture better all by itself. Great Program!

Cheers,

BDA

Even Girl Pirates don't fly Pink colours, Chick. Red, Black and even Blue but PINK! You Crazy Pirate!

How about a before and after pic, macro will work fine up to about 8 feet.

Cheers,

BDA
