Default double a batteries

I know you guys have already posted this but what are the best, strongest and most lasting double a batteries for a detector? Mines needs 8 double a batteries. It is a whites dfx. thanks in advance.

The only place that I have been able to find them is COSTCO'S. I have to order mine out of PA but they are well worth it.

I can get AA energizer Max's from work for 0.19 per each. I buy them by the box $4.56 for 24 is not bad, Beale.
