Default dad's & detecting

It's good to hear about your dad's interest,as said earlier enjoy it while you can,we lost my Father in law last summer he was 60 yrs oldand he loved to be outdoors fishing/hunting etc. They moved near us here in Idaho just before he was diagnosed with cancer ,and began chemo. Between the chemo and the cancer it was very difficult for him to get out,but we went camping, and fishing, and he loved to go out in the spring and hunt ground squirrels,(unfortunately he wasn't well enough to go out during the colder big game seasons) We made some great memories that last yearand a half!!

Also last month I bought my Father(74 y.o.) a fisher F2 for an early b-day present,He's going to visit us this summer from Alabama, and say's he wants to bring it with him when he comes. Him and I plan to do some exploring whiles here, I've thought about driving the Magruder road with him,and/or maybe do some gold prospecting up near Elk city while were there.
The last time my dad came to visit, him & I backpacked 4 miles into the Seven Devil's Mountains,we camped at Lower Cannon lake and he loved it,he was 71 then, now he's slowing down some, and told me he's only camping within 50 yards of the truck this time. I told him not to worry,we've also got some cots now to sleep on now(I'm not getting any younger either)
