New guy
Greetings again everyone, thanks for welcoming me to the site. A few of you ask me about my detector as far as the modle and such. Well, all it says is vlf treasure detector the manual just has a few pages and nothing really detailed. I have burried some coins myself trying to learn the different sounds and depths so, im working on that. I live in an area where there was supposed to be some civil war action, but it has been turned into a park and bulldozed into great mounds in most places. You can tell from the soil that it is not native to the area. I believe it was trucked in. Im going to the library to see if they have any old maps today and give it a shot. Earlier today I found some old bottles with the caps still attached and liquid inside they were quite old and under tree roots. Any suggestions would be appreciated on futher exploration of my area.
 Im not giving up.

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. You say you found some old bottles...any markings on them?
