I'd choose one or two old coins / relics over clad any day in terms of what I consider a successful hunt. I always EXPECT to find clad - so I've never been "skunked" on a hunt...BUT the oldies are what really trips my trigger!

Quality over quantity but the clad pays for accessories and is always welcome!

Beale. I just like the hunt...If I find clad it's all good...I like to find the older stuff also, but I take what I can get... It's the thrill of the hunt and the surprise of what you might get that does it for me ...Good question for sure...Buster.......

Default Any find is exciting

Any find is exciting to me but when I find a silver coin, an old something or a ring the feeling can't be beat. That is what makes this such a great hobby.

Clad is not bad. but finding old items better. Thinking that they haven't been touched by human hands for a very very long time. (But thats just me)
