Funny Story / Uk
Hi. i have only just taken up this hobby but love it already / whites dfx.
story goes like this i have a very good friend called john / he's like a brother to me we have taken up this hobby together we were both detecting the same field for our very first session, he called me across from about 10 meters away and said i keep getting great signals but when i dig there is nothing there, i looked back and there were about ten holes in a ploughed field all filled in but no finds, funny part is he was wearing steel toe boots and kept detecting his own foot. he keeps me going week in week out cheers john your a star

 Thats To Funny 100 ! Someone just posted a thread about Steel toed boots about a week ago to wonder if anyone wore them and if it interfered with their detecting. Guess it did for your Friend. Great Story, Thanks for Postin That.

When I first got started in this addiction, I used to get excited when my pinpointer would pick up the "target" in the plug I was holding in my left hand - only to turn out to be...you guessed it....my wedding band! I try to remember to leave my ring at home when I hunt now!
