Default Your Favorite "Urban" Spot

Ok, so most of you guys are farmhouse huntin', celler hole diggin', woods hikin' *coughJD*, swimmin' hole swishin'... but where in the big ol' city have you had any luck?

Here are a few of my fave places:
Sidewalk easements (grassy areas between sidewalk and street)
Abandonded house lots (especially the ones with "sidewalks to nowhere")
City parks
Old Elementary schools

Sometimes I just drive around aimlessly and see what I can find... I find a lot of vacant lots that way... Believe me, you can find some nice stuff in the urban jungle...

If you really think about it the city would naturally hold more coins than the countryside, based upon the concentration of people and events.

Nice
I like the city. Found old coins with my dad in the Bronx, up here in NYC. Now that I just purchased a DFX a couple months ago, I'll be getting together again with him in the summertime to do it again.

Hi Portraitartist,
Nice to see your posts again.

Just recently started hunting a few inner city parks, homes, and schools and although not as productive as your great finds it really is showing promise. Here's a few recent finds using a Whites M6 in the urban jungle.
