Default sw airzona, dug 9 feet down (NO GOLD FOUND)

this is suppose to be the desert , covered with gold right???
well, i hit water....
got another 4' to go to bed rock( will try and get that out today) maybe the GOLD is on the bottom.
getting gold , sure is not like poppin coins out of the ground with a screwdriver.
a hole like this would get you kicked out of the park in no time..haha
so, what do you guys think of this as a winter vacation project???
thanks for lookin' if i find any big gold i'll let you know.
george

UPDATE- ALL I FOUND WAS 11 BIRD SHOT , but there are other places to look,i'll find some more yet!

It sure beats diggin' snow.... (not that I have ever seen enough snow to dig)

So in theory you could have yourself a little oasis pond out in the middle of the desert. Plant some palm trees and get a hammock... you would be all set!

Good luck on getting to the gold!

Hey George, I think it's a cool winter project.

I would say that finding gold or water in the desert are good finds, both are elusive

it's at the base of a water falls, so i figured that when they get flash floods down here, maybe some gold would get trapped in this hole.
dug some more on it today , tomorrow i'll finish it and bring back buckets of concentrates to pan out at the camper. ya know it gets hot here 85 today and the sun just a beating down....... better than wi right now tho!!!!
