Default Somethings are not ment to be.

I've been promoted already in my new Hospice job to regional clinical staff manager. From Helena Arkansas all the way to The Missouri state line. Thought when I left the management job in the Emergency Department, I would never take another management job. Go figure. Had a big meeting planned for today with the doctors, nurses, nurse aides, social workers, chaplains, and marketers. Something was telling me yesterday that I needed to change the meeting. Don't know what it was, just one of those feelings. Well last night, about 10 pm, my 18 month old started vomiting. I was up all night with him on the couch, with towels and a bucket. Still running fever. This morning, I walked outside and it was snowing, and more is on the way from the west. (In March in Arkansas) So, I called everyone and cancelled the meeting. Funny how you should listen to what the Lord is telling you sometimes. Now I'm here at home, waiting for the 2 1/2 year old to get sick, or myself. I'm sure it is coming. Guess I can't ever stop being a nurse. 24/7 job.

Default Best Wishes on a Speedy Recovery for Your Family, Rob.

There are some nasty viruses going around lately, as you well know in your position. Do what you can from the practical side and we'll do what we can from the spiritual support end.

Be Well,

BDA

The Princess has been down with some kind of virus since Sunday so I'm playing Florence Nightingale myself.
