Default The Snow is Back in Town!!

Here we are again, 2 days after melting 6 inches of snow with a 51 degree day to have another 6 inches dropped on us last nite. With the drifting I would say its a few feet of snow in a few places.

I think this winter is gonna go to the end. It reminds me of the winters we had here as a kid. I think Ill get my snow suit on, wake my girls up and go play in the snow for awhile... uggh

Rained heavy here last night, with high winds. No snow on the ground here though. Was 50 or so last night and will be 60 here today. Alas , I have to go to work today.

Thanks for all the support for us yankee, lord knows we need it.. Ive lived here 35 years yesterday and before that I was in Chicago and NJ. I tried living in Florida and I lasted 3 months in Naples Florida. I just couldnt adjust to the sweltering summers. I love the seasonal changes but this winter will just not end lol

We plan on moving to our property in North carolina next year I think. I wont have the winters but I will have to contend with snakes, spiders and other things we dont have up here..

I know what you mean about the summers here but I love the heat & am used to it now, NC is some beautiful country, I love the mountains but I love the beach too, we have all those nasty critters here too, I can handle all of them except the snakes.

We've been pretty lucky here, a few small snows, large one that was supposed to come last Fri. never happened, a few cold spells with some warm spells to spoil us, and some heavy rains and wind last night, but nothing major......yet.
