Talking unpaved parking lots!

an in depth article on this subject was printed on a few pages of one of our favorite magazine publications. when i finished reading the article, it hit me like a ton of bricks! WHY HADN'T I THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE?!?!?!?! within about half a minute, i had formulated a list of around 15 unpaved parking lots! i then proceded to buy a large wide-mouth container for all the coins that i might find (5 of these unpaved lots are located across from bars/danceclubs) my 2 days off are saturday and sunday, man is my arm going to be sore on monday! lol

It sounds like a good idea but I've moved too much gravel with a shovel over the course of my career in construction to want to do it for fun. It's excellent exercise but you're absolutely right, you're going to be very tired come Monday.

Cheers,

BDA

I have been doing these for quite awhile and I always come up with something interesting, besides it is one of the few things you can do easily up here in the snow belt. And almost always there is no digging involved just move the gravel with your foot. I have found little league parks really good for this. I think that most parents are in a hurry to drop off and pick up there kids and of course stuff gets dumped out of the car. If there is a refreshment stand with a gravel path to it these are absolute winners. Good luck on your finds I know you will not come back empty handed.
