Default A "Heated hunt" from the Bluenoser's Log book

From the land of the Bluenose....as you can tell by the number of posts this evening that it's a really slow night at work. Got to ask...how many of you have found one of these while on a hunt? Was doing a land dig with the "Bardman" who is a 2nd year detectorist who I took under my wing the year before and swings a White's MXT or something close to that. Not a Garret so it got me. Anyway the Bardman is an older bouy who does only parks and schools so I took him to one near the Jubilee Boat club where there was a good chance of finding silver.

Well the Bardman was having a field day on the field a digging coins left and right while dodging doggie dew and got my goat as he found a nice Trans Am dinkie...you know the one with the black t roof and gold trim and the bouy was rubbing it in causing me cod liver oil to boil. I decided there and then to try the wooded area on the other side of the fence next to the gourge where in years gone by the railroad had dug it out to lay tracks so as not to disrupt the downtown traffic and found this..................................

All said and done was a fun hunt with a good bud followed by the mandatory stop at Tim's!
