Default Whites Dfx Individual Program

I want to make my own program with my dfx for deeper finds. Planning to go to the catholic school and going to detect in their sand park and maybe later grass if I have the time. I know the sandpark is going to be full of goodies maybe not as good as last time but good as well. Planning on doing a complete search of the area section by section. Can I make my own program getting deeper finds? The beach/coin/jewlery mode is great and I usually hunt everywhere with that mode because the pinpointer is dead on. I rarely use the other modes. Let me know if the other modes are good and if I should use them. also let me know if I should make my own program for better resulys and how to do it step by step if I can. I would like to have my unit programmed already before starting my catholic school hunt. Disc. can be set low since not too much junk at the school because it is private property. Thank you in advance.

Default Dfx

Hi smartfox

I use a DFX and have now put my own program into it there are spare places to save you progam so that you can load it each time you use you DFX, if you put a search the internet you can pick up different programs, you can also set up a bench test with differnet metals to get the best perfomance

Smartfox, I use an XLT and it's kinda close to the DFX from what I understand...I got a few different programs off the internet for my XLT...Just search through Google for Whites DFX and it will bring up a whole bunch on the DFX..you can research through these and pick and choose some to try...Good Luck and Happy Hunting...Buster...

My only advice is to experiment and learn the facet changes and how they affect the DFX performance. If using someone else's program and have no clue why your making the changes i'm not so sure it's going to benefit your overall performance but find it interesting how others operate their detectors attempting to push them to the limits.

Your best bet may be using the factory presets with a few minor adjustments and making a coil change depending on hunting conditions. Just a few thoughts. HH Bill
