Default I Think I Fugured This Gold Thing

All by myself. Not sure if all of you know or if I am right but I think this is how it goes.

24k = 99.99%

18k = 70%

14k = 40%

gold per ounce = $1,025

so if I got a ring or something suppose I got a 14k ring that is 1 ounce you need to do the following.

1,025
x .40
-------
$410 dollars total.

Is that right? So all we need is a little scale to figure the weight of the gold out. How much do those little scales go for? Going to get one asap.

Remember I was asking before how to ger the exact value of gold and the question did get answered but there was some info missing. I was just daydreaming and it came to me. IS THIS RIGHT? If it is we can use this formula we will not get ripped off by other people. Let me know if this is correct or if I am missing something. Hope this helps everyone.

Default Not Quite

24K= 100%
22K= 90%
18K= 75%
15K= 62.5%
14K= 58.33%
10K= 41.67%
9K = 37.50%

The gold is weighed in dwt and then calculated.

Default pappy

how do you work this site?
it says step 1 enter spot price. what do you put there?
step 2 you put either grams or DWT
then just calculate?

Also if I dod not have this program how would I go about calculating the grams to DWT and what does DWT stand for? thanks in advance.

I calculate he is taking a 16% commission. Northern Refineries takes a 6% commission.
