Default My hordes

From the land ofthe Bluenose......have a few collections
35 years worth of silver coins
42 years of being a philatalist (had to get a bookshelf made for my 57 albums
McDonalds cards.....have everyone they ever put out.
postcards......older Tucks are great collectables

Of course Marie has her collection and this is just the tip of the collection.

Of course one of my real joys of collecting is my Van Meer paintings. He too is a special atthe airport and I have 4 of his paintings.

This he painted from a photo of Marie and I fishing on an island in the middle of Prelude Lake in the NWT. This is my favand has meaning to the drunkaned Bluenoser . And no I'm sniffing for natural gas in this photo!

first i collected hotwheels, then keychains, then i collected those stupid poke-mon things, stopped doing that and stopped colecting everything else and now i colelct insulators. Heres a picture of my sub-colelction of 1871 bullets just for kicks as i finally uploaded the pictures ff my camera.

2. Autographed baseballs...I'm working to complete a set of the 1975 Cincinnati Reds "The Big Red Machine"...some of you Boston Red Sox fans will know who I mean! Right now I have Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, George Foster and Dave Concepcion...

3. Souvenir Patches: from national parks, state parks, places of interest

4. Anything that is old - and that I consider a "keeper"....drives my wife nuts - but I like it!

I never stay in one place long enough to collect anything. If I could collect anything it would be books but they're too heavy to move every few years. I always wind up giving books I like to people I think would benefit from them so my book collection is only one bookcase full and it is constantly changing as I move out the old for the new.
