Default Guys, I had a great day!!!!

I am so pleased with the day I had today!

I went behind my house in the woods to that old log cabin foundation.

I dug and sifted most of the day and detected for about 15 minutes or so.

I need to get cleaned up now but just wait till you hear and see all that I have found, I still can't believe it....

Will post it in a bit.

Jeb: That relic program worked like a charm

Hello!

Well other than the thingy that went on at the poll I had a great day digging & detecting.

Got up this morning early and put together a sifter. Left the house here on foot, walked through the woods (about a 15 minute walk) arrived at the old log house foundation and started digging.
I didn't dig deep but just scratched around some. Started digging broken bottles and was lucky to find the 2 smaller ones in one piece.

The larger unbroken bottle says: J.HENDERSON & BROS
and the smaller one says: "SAMPLE" Gary's cough cure syrup

I found much more but had to leave most of it there.

Take a look at the stone! Could it be? I have not seen any sone like it in my area. I'll post a close-up of it over at Tom's forum here.

Well folks, I haven't told you the best news yet!

After digging/sifting I fired up the EX II and scanned over where I dug and locked on to a good target (I was using the program Jeb mentioned above)
I pull from the ground from 10 to 12 inches down a silver coin!

Its soaking now and I don't know what it is but its silver for sure.
After cleaning I'll post a pic....I hope it real old...Now remember folks I dug a 1700's coin there a few year back so hoping the silver is old to.

Well off I go to check on the coin again....
