Biosolids take a LONG time to go away. It's not like your farm animal "deposits". I checked it out myself on the way to work. It's going to be around a while. I did notice some areas that are not as heavily covered with waste, that may be huntable. I'll focus on those spots. As a matter of fact, I'm going to hunt the CRAP out of those spots.......

Ya gotta draw the line somewhere. I'd worry about the many diseases from human waste. I'd give it alot of time.

I'd be a bit hesitant about digging in a field covered in human waste. Hep C and HIV viruses are just a few of the nasties found in human waste and that's enough to turn me off. Give that 'night soil' some time to disipate from a few heavy rainfalls before digging. That's the safest bet in my mind.

Why would they cover the field with that? Will they be growning a crop that humans consume? Yuck! I've never heard of such and I grew up in western KY. I would think it wouldn't be lawful for them to use it as fertilizer...

I hate to tell ya this Pris,but the water that comes out of your faucets is more than likely wastewater that has been treated.There were recently stories in the new's of drugs being found in tapwater the reason being that wich I stated above.

Hey Rip, I heard that report also, they want to test city sewers to get an idea of the amount of drug use in individual cities, some people actually have a problem with it? We have a Pur filter for our drinking and cooking water and I'm considering a whole house filter. It's really getting scary!
