When i was young my father raised bobwhite quail. Im not sure why but they sure did taste good. My brother had a few chickens and sheep at his place.. I would go for it!

Oh yea loud, smelly, and good eat'n. I remember gathering eggs with my grandmother. I also remember getting supper at times, hen to old to produce. I got scared to death seeing a headless hen running, Beale.

My neighbor's got chickens, and guinea foul, and ducks, and quail, and ROOSTERS.

Roosters are loud, but we're used to them and we don't sleep in much!
