Default Waiting for the Eagle to Land

Im getting nervous.....
My wife and i filed taxes this year using Turbo tax, and we did the e-file...In the past when we have used a CPA to do the taxes, (with e-file) and we have gotten out taxes back in about 3-5 days... Well its been 2wks now and no refund yet...(i have to wait for the Eagle to land before i can get my MXT) "I guess i should not have claimed the midget wrestlers as a business expenses".
How long did it take to get your taxes back this year???

I usually have always gotten any federal refunds in about 10 days using turbo-tax with e-file. Don't forget - this is a holiday week AND getting toward the filing deadline - so lots of folks are clogging the works...

I did a efile the first couple of days of Feb. My check was in my account for both federal and state on Feb 14. So say two weeks. I agree the closer we get to the file date the longer it will take to process.

If you did Efile than you should have gotten a comfirmation that the goverment accepted your return. If you did, then it will come... If they didnt, there might be a late night knock at the door with some guys in a black van and ski masks need to have a word with you...

Here's what you do to get even....get a nice little jewelry box (the kind rings come in when you buy them from a jewelry store) put a nice pull tab inside and then wrap it with nice paper and ribbon and set it by her plate at dinner. Tell her "Honey, I feel that you should benefit from my investment in metal detecting - and I wanted you to have this..."

She might laugh....
