Default I beg for your help Minelab XT18000

G'Day all,

I'm hoping one of you out there can help me, i've been out of the prospecting game for afew years now (almost 15 years) and looking to get back into it, back then i would only go along my local beaches and did manage to find afew treasures here and there but nothing to jump over the moon about but finds none the less.

Being 27 this year i've been talking to my brother about geting acouple metal detectors and goin bush for a week or two, he's all for it, now i've been doing abit of looking around on ebay and minersden.com.au and found one that i think would be great for us and also read afew reviews and everyone has loved it, its the MINELAB XT18000, because my budget will not allow me to get a brand spankin new one I'm hoping you fine people will be able to help us out with acouple of good secondhand ones, We'll be prospecting for gold in the hills of Victoria Australia...heading for walhalla, If any of you out there could refer me to anywhere or any site i would be grateful, Thankyou all very much and to those who put this forum together, Cheers
Paul

I was looking around and I don't see the XP18000 for sale here in the states.

I think it might be known here as the Minelab Eureka Gold here. Sells new for $898US.

Same config but different mounting location for the control box.

Welcome to TQ! I don't have personal knowledge of the machine you're looking at - but wanted to wish you all the best in finding a good machine and especially in your hunt for gold!

Hi Pro, I think the XT18000 is an older one. I have the XT17000. Its about 15 yrs old if I remember right. You might have to look for a newer model. Good Luck
