Greetings....how Do You Confirm If Your Hunting In Very To Moderate Mineralized Soil? Kinda Know By Somewhat Erratic Detector Behavior But, Have Allways Wondered If There Is A Sure Way Method To Tell The Degree Of Mineralization? Anybody Know? Thanks

That's about it really, the detector starts chattering a lot and you need to turn your sensitivity back until it is stable again. Good Luck

You can get sort of an idea if you have a manual ground balance. With the coil in the air set the balance and then lower it to the ground. If there is a big change in the threshold there is a lot of mineralization.
