I read about this in the early am while drinking my coffee. It is SO interesting. One day I'd like to go there.

Default Oh dear ...

The great British sense of humour strikes again methinks , one swift glance at my calender would seem to confirm that : )

As a footnote : i visited Stonehenge in Oct 07 , smaller than one would think but quite astonishing all the same.Ive many quality pictures i took if anyone would like to see them just say the word.

Default : )

Being Scottish and having lived my life there i know its not beneath the British media to circulate just such a gag , id be staggered if its true.
I was there just months ago and there was no such talk or indications of any dig ..other than i think there were future plans to widen the access road but nothing concrete( excuse the pun) : )

It is one of the coolest places on earth. It facinates me and always will. I saw this on the news also but never grow tired of Stonehenge. Thanks Anne!

Stonehenge is only about 40 miles away from me so I pass it quiet frequently...........it certainly has a mystical feel about it.

When I was in the Air Force I was stationed in England for 3 years, at Royal Air Force Upper Heyford from 1989-1992, I visited Stonehenge several times & ABSOLUTELY loved it, it is quite an amazing place, would love to visit again.
