It only gets worse as time goes by, You will no longer look at anything without wondering what is in the ground. Just driving down the road you get starry eyed by the possibilities.

Like Christine said, you seem to start seeing places you never saw before or see them in a different way. I never miss a big power line, they just attract my eyes, and now places of interest to detect. I gotta be more careful now or I am going to run into someone. I probably need mule blinders to drive any more

I lay in bed at night picturing my community in my mind and trying to think of places to search. It's getting to be an addiction. Better than some I've had.

As a surf pirate my interest is in the water at beaches. I drive out of my way every day to monitor the state of the sand. When I see that there has been a big shift in the sand it's like a knot in my guts until I get out there and hunt it.
It's gold fever as well because I need to find a piece a week to meet my goal for the year and I haven't been out for a few weeks now due to a new job. I can feel the pressure building and I know the only thing that will cure it is the glimmer of gold in the bottom of my scoop.

Soon Come,

BDA

Yeah, you know you got it bad when you are in the front yard, in your robe with black over the calf socks, and flip flops swinging your detector before church. Not that I've ever experienced that or anything. No No, my wifes never had to call me back in the house for the way I looked, really. You gotta believe me.

Don't feel too bad Rob...If I am out hunting in my front yard..I will get called to come back into the house because The Boy Friend is coming over and It would embarrass my daughter..Yes I had pants on....Have to work on that situation a little....Right now I make the Boy Friend nervous.. Going to keep it that way for a while....Buster...
