I hope things get dryer for you rob..

I was thinking the other day that in the winter there is a southern drought and then in spring theres massive flooding.

Is it just me or wouldnt it make sense that you channel the flood waters into massive holding tanks and then when theres a drought you have a ready water supply??

You would have to have a very instringent filtering system and it might not be drinkable but it might be possible to use for crops or to fight fires..

Just a thought..
