Default Ace 250

Man the Ace 250 is all you need to get into this hobby. I know where you can buy a new one priced in your budget. Greg at transbaymetaldetecting.com. You get his phone number off his web site and call him. Just tell him that Rodney in South Carolina suggested that you call him for the best price on the ACE 250.

Hey Gary welcome to the site. Glad to have you on. I will ask a question to you. Do you want a VID (visual ID)? If you have no preference I am going to suggest a different machine. The Tosoro Silver. A very nice machine with a lifetime warranty, Beale.

Well no i guess i dont need VID after thinking about it for abit, I guess i would have to put on my reading glasses just to read it lol!, and I hate wearing eye glasses. Now about that Tesoro machine it's maybe a good detector! but this is my bad! that one ugly machine! lol sorry. Dont mean to be so negative about it after all I don't even have one yet! But I do appreciate your input.

thanks gary

As you can tell form the replies you question is kind of like asking if the next Nascar winner will be driving a Ford or a Chevy.
My vote's for the 250 also, it's easy to use, can be used as a turn on an go, can be customized, you can use the target ID or just ignore it, it's easy to learn, it's light.....
As far as wanting to upgrade well......I've only been seriously detecting for a couple of years and the 250 was my second detector, still have it, still use it, but I've been through a few others too. Just never satisfied I guess but once the addiction get hold it's hard to stop.
