Smile lookin for

Hi all looking to get into this hobby, Would like some suggestions on some makes and models of metal detecting machines. Even though i will be a beginner, I am not looking for a beginner machine, As I catch on very fast in most things I try. my spending budget is around $250. Would like a machine i can stay with for a few years without feeling the need to upgrade from the start go. Oh if it matter on areas of the country as far as ground types, i live in weird state of Massachusetts :(
thanks in advance!

far be it from me to say i have alot of knowledge of detector types...but in that price range the ace 250 comes to mind. im sure others will chime in and concur, or tell you to wait and save for something else. good luck, hope you find a good one.

In your price range I would go with the Ace 250. A lot of people are using them and have had some good results.

Welcome to TQ where no question goes unanswered!

Consider a used machine from one of our sponsors or a dealer nearby to you. You get a more features for your money and a warranty to back it up.

Think about where you want to hunt (Land, beach water) and what you want to hunt and read the reviews in our Metal Detector Review area.
