Default As you can tell

I am back from 11 days at Martinsville, VA for the race. Yea we go a little early so we can get a good camping spot since there are 5 campers of us. It only takes 1 other camper to pull into a space where we can't park all together. Man was it cold at the race, about 35 degrees and a light misty rain. My fingers and toes were numb by the end of it.
Since we got back last Monday, I started work Tuesday morn. Wow the first 2 days were 12 hr days. I got to get out of the retired mode. Any way I am enjoying it and making some extra cash, which really helps right now.
I probably won't be posting as much. I do check in every evening, but don't post much. A lots of posts during the day to catch up on, like 200 - 300.
When I got back from the race there were 3946 posts to go thru. So please excuse me if I didn't reply to your post. I will try to do better, but make no promises.

Thought I would add some pics.

Staging area for the campground. We spent 2 nights here. The campground doesn't open till Saturday a week before the race.

Playing a bean bag game at the staging area

Some of the ladies cooking breakfast in the group kitchen. My wife Val on the left, a friend Pam from VA, and another friend Cindy from Mississippi. We always have a good breakfast
