Default East Coast Monsoon

Well, this is the 3rd of 4 days off work. I had kinda planned on doing some digging. Not gonna happen. I know.....we need the rain, as it is part of the Grand Scheme of things. Up until recently, it has been too dry. So I'm not complaining. We planted some strawberry plants last week down here in Southern Va. That was a mistake. But none of the local greenhouses sold CRANBERRY plants. The wife and I went to a good yard sale(inside) today, and I found an interesting bottle. I posted it in the "bottle" forum here, but will post here, also(if that's o.k). Found a Tab soda bottle that was filled and capped with Nu-Grape Soda. Never been opened. Coca Cola owns both brands. Anyway, I'm afraid we're going to have to trade our metal detectors in for fish-finders if this rain continues. But, once again, I'm not complainig. I needed the rest........

Yeah, I'm not too far from either lake, actually. Perhaps a little closer to Buggs Island. I own a couple of water-view lots on Buggs, but they are small. If a rabbit dug a hole on one lot, it would probably cover the other one up.

Hey DF, you talking about Kerr and Gaston. Do you live around Boydton or Palmer springs?
