Ive hunted public schools many times...only on Sundays or during the summer when the kids are not there...This day and time if you tryed to hunt them during school hours It wouldnt be long before the swat team arrived

I got chased out of a small neighborhood park once. Someone had complained that somebody was digging in the park. The officer was nice and commented that he couldn't even see where I had dug, but asked me to leave, none-the-less, which I did.

As for my experiance with the LAW theres no fighting them to many to back them up and its hard to OUT run the Helicopters ..plus the pepper spray and electric Tazers hurt....lol..So if they say please leave i say YES SIR..Thank you Sir..Have a great day Sir..its not worth it..I want to go home to my family and to my Job on monday mornings..A jail cell is not nice or appealing to me..good luck james..

Yep. I've been chased away with a written warning(years ago), and had to explain my presence to a Deputy the other week while hunting beside a local Courthouse(but I was on private land). I asked the Deputy if he thought I'd be out there in plain view, with lots of folks coming and going WITHOUT permission? The cop actually contacted the owner of the property, who came up there to verify that I was O.K. Bottom line is--don't hunt near a public place like that unless it is on a Saturday or Sunday, when most folks will not see you, even if you have permission.
