message in a bottle

Ever find one? I tossed one overboard on a cruise and it never came back. also how about a balloon with a note attached. I found one in a field once. that was cool.

I found a balloon and I phoned the number, it turned out it was some sort of school project and the girl was thriled to bits as her balloon had travelled about 230 miles.

Cool idea. I remember doing the balloon thing in grade school. Mine travelled to my neighbors yard. LOL

BTW it is illegal to throw trash from a ship!

I have never found one. But a few years ago I did toss a message in a bottle in the ocean. I was'nt able to say good bye to my mom before she died so I wrote it and tossed in on at our favorite beach. I wish now that I had added my addy.

A friend was detecting on the beach a couple of months ago, saw a bottle in the surf so he waded out to get it. It did have a note in it, he had to break the bottle to get to the note. It turned out the be the strangest note I've ever seen. It said something like I'm going to figure this out and take over than there was a bunch of science formulas that looked like something from... a sci fi show.
